
Many thanks for those that attended in 2025, and made the event so successful. We look forward to seeing you again on November 8th, 2026.

Service
The Crystal Palace Band will provide music for the Service and will play before the Service, which will start at 10:50am. The service will be led by St. George’s Church, Beckenham.
At 11.00 am the Two Minute Silence will be instigated by the Exhortation and the sounding of the Last Post and ended with Reveille and the Kohima Epitaph.
The wreath laying will be led by Councillors, the MP for Beckenham and the Deputy Lieutenant, followed by representatives of the armed services, civilian uniformed services and youth organisations and schools.
Residents are then welcome to lay their own wreaths
The Service will end with the singing of the National Anthem.
Uniformed Groups & Schools
Uniformed groups – Scouts, Guides, Schools, Air Cadets, St Johns’ Ambulance and others – will assemble in St Georges road for the parade to the War Memorial starting at 10:00am.
Groups wishing to attend should contact us.
Facilities
Citygate church on the War Memorial Roundabout will be open for toilets and coffee after the service.
The Beckenham Methodist Church on Bromley Road will also be open from 10:30am for toilets, coffee and tea.
